Hello All!

So my fiance and I started indoor climbing about a month and a half ago. Recently we came across the opportunity to go to Utah for work, and we've set up a day of climbing outside! We've decided to go to Rock Canyon with a local to show us around, and wondering what tips/advice you all had? What routes to check out while we're there?

Sooo excited.... :)

Bryan,

With only "a day" of climbing, let your friend pick the route(s). Be sure the local knows that you're new to climbing. Hopefully, the local is experienced and will keep the two of you safe. Do you already know the guy? Have fun.

Thanks, Frank!

He was referred to us by Mountainworks, the shop across from Rock Canyon.

Is he an actual guide you're going to pay or just a recommended local? Either one could be fine, but I'm just curious.
