Description Good vertical crack climbing fun and recently cleaned, Firebird climbs a friendly crack system on the left side of the Zonkers wall. P1 5.6+ 80 Climb a short hand crack step left, follow the crack system up to a large ledge with some oak trees. P2 5.7+ 45 Start on the left side of the ledge, Face climb up to a 6in wide crack leading to the top. The second pitch has not been cleaned but could use it. From the first belay you can walk right along a ledge that provides access to some of the upper routes/pitches or just for the view. | John Howard on Firebird 5.7, a route at Woodchuck just around the corner to the left of Ace of Spades, Zonked Out and Screaming Yellow Zonkers. The picture is a little blurry as it is two stitched together. Submitted By: M Sprague on Jun 27, 2011
