BETA PHOTO: Triston Richardson starting the crux.

Description

The crux is near the top. Difficulty progresses the higher you go starting at about 5.7. This is one of the more enjoyable routes in the canyon. It has beautiful black and orange streaked rock. It is a great first lead of the grade or warmup for those who climb at a higher level. The first bolt is easy to skip.

Location

F***in' Greenies is 20 feet left of Smokin' Stems starting on small ledge with a large tree on it.

Protection

9 glue-in Fixe bolts to chains.

A reall good route overall with increasingly strenuous climbing. Fairly well bolted except maybe that last one. There are some disconcertingly hollow flakes on it though. Pull down not out! All that being said, it's probably one of the better routes in the area at the 5.10 grade.
