BETA PHOTO: Fertile Rock's west face.

Description

Fertile Rock possesses a large, overhanging west face. The rock quality is very good, and the landings are good as well.

Getting There

From the main parking area, head down the hill, cross the creek, head back up the hill following the drainage. The rock is just shy of where the dirt road crosses the drainage.

Climbing Season

For the Nine Mile Hill area.

Weather station 15.5 miles from here

At that point, set and fire a left hand into the mail slot at the rail's end. The remaining topout climbs straight up using the stegasauras-like shaped jugs. The crux involves a left hand move to the rail's mail slot; this requires a fair amount of accuracy and power.
