| What's up climbers, hikers and beatniks? I'm moving to Santiago, Chile in mid-January and looking for climbing buddies, hiking buddies, etc. I have a place to stay and a couch available for surfing. I'm really wanting to get down south to Patagonia and chill out there doing some hiking, backpacking and climbing. Would be willing to hoof it, bus it or split the cost of renting a car or whatever. I'm a 5.10 sport lead with a little trad experience and even a small trad rack. Would love to bag some peaks down there. Cochamo Valley, Torres del Paine, Bariloche, Argentina, etc. Who's down? Take a couple weeks off from that shitty desk job and come check out Chile! I'm sure by mid-February I'll be dying to hear some English for a while. | FLAG |

| headed to Santiago may 3rd-10th. Have been researching sport crags around there. Any info on where to go around Santiago is much appreciated. So far Banos Morales, Cerro El Morado, and las Chilcas looks promising, but hard to figure out where to stay and how to get there. Any Beta? Any suggestions on where to go and not to go. | FLAG |
