| I never met Kellen. It sounds like he was living his 20s like I wish I had lived mine. RIP Kellen and my condolences to anyone who is grieving over his passing. | FLAG |

| Jessica, was it that manky blue down jacket of his? That thing was great! I think he must have rolled a hobo for that thing. | FLAG |

| Shane Neal wrote: Yes- that is correct. You are connecting the right person w/ the name. Just to clarify. Kellen was not the director of outdoor rec at Ft Carson. He was an Outdoor Programmer for Ft Carson(I believe this was his title). Regardless of title he was a beautiful person that I've been privileged to call friend and one that I will miss dearly. Much love to all. | FLAG |

| Kellen and I climbed alot togehter last summer, i met him at a climbers beer night(thanks josh) and we clicked right away because we both liked big wall climbin,so the very next day we climbed and then through the summer,(sheeps nose, turkey rock and perch,st. peters dome, thunder ridge, crestone needle and so on)and out of 13 years of trad climbin he's the only guy i really clicked with, because we did not have to say anything we could just climb. We had alot planned for this summer, so in his memory im gonna ask Jane if she wants to climb some of what we were gonna do together. There hasnt been a day gone by since his accident that i dont think about him and how such a great guy he was.(R.I.P. Kellen) U will always be part of me, i miss u bro, I know u are rippin it up right now in heaven. | FLAG |

| I thought the jacket was green (however I am colorblind) that he put down, it didn't look too old from what I remember, I thought the dogs just layed on it that day because it was left out and when Jess left I hung it up on the tree, didn't realize he put it down for them, it was muddy as hell afterwords though and it didn't seem to bother him, nice guy, I can't say I would have done that with my down, and I really like dogs and Jessica! | FLAG |
