Description 

The North face of Far Downs provides welcome shade during the heat of Summer. The area is incredibly beautiful, and absolutely no tourists ever bother you. The routes here are all high quality... and the summit views are as fine as any in the Needles.

Getting There 

Far Downs is the next formation immediately West of Erebor. However, the easiest approach follows the trail down hill from Near Downs.
