I'm looking for partners for an expedition to the North Cascades. I'm thinking about Glacier Peak followed by the Picket Traverse. I chose these two objectives because they're both really remote, include one volcano (mostly snow and ice) and a bunch of awesome granite. I'm thinking about a two week trip in late June. Anybody interested?

I'm pretty flexible on the objectives, so if you have other hot ideas for the N. Cascades (or maybe Waddington, Bugaboos) please let me know. Most of all, I love being in the mountains, in the wilderness.

I don't know much about the picket traverse but I heard that glacier peak is the best volcano climb, I might be up for a trip like that.

If your talking about the picket traverse featured in the aaj a year or two ago you may be looking at the second or third ascent of the route. Ballsy. Wish I was man enough to join in on that one.
