Rock Climbing Photo: near Malibu Creek sport climbing area, Los Angeles...
Hi again everyone. The following posting is now running on the Flagstaff craigslist. Three people who have met this dog now have said they would take him if they could cause he's a good one (but they have other dogs, can't ,etc.) There has been other interest but nothing that has worked out yet. And one excellent placement possibility is on hold for indeterminate time for a health problem with another pet in the home. PLEASE if you are in the market for a dog consider this guy.

"This sweet, gentle 2-3 year old 40-lb. boy was found hungry and bug-bitten at Jack's Canyon crag 30 miles from anywhere, south of Winslow. He's now been cleaned up, neutered, all shots, heartworm tested, and living indoors the past month. He would love it if he can get out for hikes, camping, or following you while you're mountain biking -- some sort of frolic, because he does incredibly well outdoors. Overall he is quiet (doesn't habitually bark), walks well on a leash, and comes to me when called on a trail or in the yard. He has never had a toilet accident in his foster home and he is often alone with his foster brother for 10+ hours, though he wouldn't prefer to be alone so long of course!

This beautiful boy is adaptable and has learned some new training at his foster home (like "sit"), but he still acts a little like a dog who was starved for food and love. He loves other dogs, has been in group dog & lots of people situations at a climbing crag in Flagstaff, and he is very tolerant and loving. He is curious about the many stray cats in my neighborhood, yet untested with house cats.

I live in Phoenix in a one-room studio with a limited permission pet situation, and I already have one dog I've been committed to for a few years now. After he settles in with you, Bigsy will be the most devoted dog ever! The people who have met this dog say they would take him if they didn't already have dog(s). He's pretty awesome. Please consider Bigsy for a forever home! I'm at nine seven oh area code, fivenine six three eight ohseven."
