| Looking for a partner for Escalante Canyon Saturday the 21st and ½+ of Sunday the 22nd. I prefer the obscure/adventure stuff which may include a rough approach, starts through the Chinley, wide cracks, and dirty and lose rock. Oops - off by a week. Edited for the correct weekend. | FLAG |

| You're right Dana. I should have added that I'm an old man who gets up early, farts, and drinks too much. | FLAG |

| Had my introduction to Escalante a few weeks back at Zappa Wall. Found the climbing to be sufficiently hard. My wrist gobies just finished healing. | FLAG |

| I see that while I was out climbing and having fun there was an internet love fest in my honor. Over the weekend I did an especially fun pitch in a great position with unusual moves. To help open your eyes, I’m offering a $50 prize for the first person to do a clean lead of this climb for the (probable) second ascent. The climb isn’t even very difficult, just memorable. The offer expires May 21, 2012. Restrictions apply. See me for details. | FLAG |
