  • Description

A crumbly route to the left of the regular route on the Unmentionable, protected by bolts. Judging by the crumbly nature of some of the rock, I am not sure I would trust all the bolts. Go straight up from the base. The route is slightly overhanging in places. Look out for sidepulls on your right.

    Location

This route is on the Unmentionable, to the left of the regular route.

    Protection

4-5 bolts to a bolted anchor on top.

ED is crumbly, yes, but 'tis the nature of the rock and thus the adventure that makes climbing at the Pinnacles unique. If you can't stomach the looseness, don't complain about it. Go climb elsewhere. The bolts seemed solid enough as we lead the climb.
