Description Suggest change

Continuing up and around a corner from Alien Elite will bring you to Energy Vortex. Energy Vortex is located just left of the large, slashing crack that marks Living In Sin and the start of the South Face. Energy Vortex climbs the dome in 2 pitches:

P1 - Begin in a easy 5.7 crack and climb to the first set of anchors. The anchors are a little offset from the natural line or the route and are awkward to get to, not much room at the belay stance either.

P2 - The route's crux is the opening thin friction moves just above the anchors. Once past this short section, it's a cruise up sparcely protected but easy terrain to the summit.

Protection Suggest change

Standard rack up to a #3 Camalot. 2-bolt anchors located at the top of each pitch.
