Description

Good rock with highly diverse climbing. There are all kinds of routes on this cliff from easy multi-pitch trad lines, to 1980's 5.12's with 1/4 inch bolts and strap your nuts on intensity. Gear placements can at times require creativity, with tri cams being especially useful. Beware the seasonal gate closure, what should be a 10 minute approach can turn into a 2.5 mile one way slog through the snow.

Getting There

From Missoula, head down 93 and take a right on 12. Drive past the Lolo Hot Springs Resort and turn onto Fish Creek Road. From here drive about 1.4 miles and take a left onto FR 4200. 3.6 miles more to a locked gate, walk around the corner and you will see the cliff.
