BETA PHOTO: The up hill view (NORTH/WEST) if approaching the &...
This area offers very solid stone with lots of shade. The problems are scattered up and down a gully/ridge just NORTH of "The Energy Wall" and just down hill (SOUTH/EAST) of the area know as "The Pass."
Most of the problems tend to be South or east facing in nature. This area has lots of potential for new and exciting problems. Many of which will fall in the high ball range. In short, this is a great little know area that offers peace and quite. So enjoy.
From the first parking lot hike the Sisters Trail (Staying right of "The Brothers Lookout"). Continue just past the "Pachyderm Boulder" where you will began to head LEFT or (WEST) up hill into a slowly tightening gully. The first major boulder that should come into view will be the Marmot Block. Once you have found this boulder all the other currently established lines can be found just a little further up hill.
NOTE: This area can also be found by hiking from the "Energy Wall" almost due NORTH over the ridge/saddle. If this is the route you choose you will most likely run into the "Haus Rail" first. Hopefully the photo beta posted will help let you know that you have found the right gully.

: ... : Elicit Area
Start down low in a crack system. Make a steep traverse up and right by climbing the obvious crack system until it turns pure horizontal and ends. From this point continue straight up onto a blank looking white face with only slopers to aid in your security. This one assures one of a spicy finish. At the moment, I feel this is the best line at the "Elicit Area!!" It's a must do!!!...[more] Browse More Classics in CO
