Mountain Project: Forum: Eldo Redgarden falcon closures 1 Feb to 31 Jul 2013

It's that time of year. The portion of Redgarden from the Edge to Sidetrack are subject to seasonal falcon closures starting 1 February, and continuing through 31 July (or until further notice).

This includes:

Naked Edge (last 3 pitches)

Diving Board

Centaur

Redguard (last 3 pitches)

Red Ant

Semi-wild

Anthill Direct (last 3 pitches)

Sidetrack

The Cyn Pin is a month behind the closures in Eldo. It closes March 1st so there is still another month of crisp temps in the spires!

I had heard this from a climbing partner also. I just called the park office and they said that they weren't aware of older signs with this verbiage unless they are from the end of closures last year thanking climbers for respecting the 2012 closures. The new signs for this year's closure went out yesterday and today.
