I just got back to Syracuse for the school year, interested in climbing weekends at the Gunks, Adirondacks or anywhere close enough for weekend trips. Email me or respond if you're interested.

Top of the Grand after heading up the Petzl Direct

Shane,
I live about 40 minutes west of Syracuse. I try and plan weekend trips to the Gunks and head up to the ADK high peaks region sometimes when there isn't rain in the forecast which seems to be never. Any interest in ice and mixed climbing? I'm planning on getting up to the Daks this winter as much as humanly possible. Wouldn't mind getting down to the Gunks this fall a couple more times too.

Joe,

My plans for winter climbing are the same, getting to the Daks as often as possible. Lemme know if your looking to get out any weekend before winter for something in the high peaks or gunks...wallface? Otherwise, ill contact you once ice season starts.

I live in NYC, usually climb in the Gunks but am dying to try climbing in the Daks, maybe with Trap Dyke or Wallface. I don't have any lead gear right now, though I can lead up to 5.4 and can follow up to 5.9.

I have also ice climbed once and would like to get more into it this winter.

Are you free any weekends in November? I don't have a car, but could bus it up to near the Daks for a one / one a half day trip.

Me!

If any of you ice climber types is looking to get out in the 'Daks on Sunday, PM me here. I'll try to check my account Saturday night. If you give me your number, I'll give you a jingle. I'm staying at the hostel in Keene Sat. and Sun. night so you can also call there if you'd like. (Yes, my user name is my real name).

You can love your rope but you can't "LOVE" your rope

Shane,

You probably already know about this, but if you don't, it is worth checking out:

I'm heading out to visit family april 26 to may 4th and would like to climb during the week or on the 3rd. I lead 10a in Joshua Tree so maybe I could put up a 5.8 out there, right? I can fedex my rack ahead of time if anyone who responds to this doesn't have a lot of gear. swampterrorist@hotmail.com please

Me on the summit of Mt. Whitney. That's Mt. Russel in the background.

Hey Shane -

Still looking for partners? I'll be visiting the Gunks from CA June 21 - 26 or so, and will be looking for people to climb with.
