Description Suggest change

The best line of the 3 at the crag, and takes the best gear. The rock is solid and there are sufficient placements for a rank beginner to sew it up on whatever rack they bring. We had John Steinbeck on the mind while at this crag.

Location Suggest change

The is the left-most line on the West Face of 'East Of Eden' crag and the first route there. The climb ascends a right-facing corner and crack for 55 or 60 feet to the top, going to the right at the very end, merging with 'The Whimper Of Our Discontent.' Good mellow climbing the whole way.

Protection Suggest change

Whatever you have from nuts to 3" cams. Take your choice. Belay up top from a cord on large boulders.
