BETA PHOTO: Chris Acosta belaying Max Snyder on Early Bird Spe...

Description

This route starts with some easy 5.10 climbing past 3 bolts up to a small roof. Pulling through the roof is not obvious and feels around V6; and clipping the 4th bolt is very strenuous. Once established above the roof about 20 feet of technical 5.10 climbing in a fun dihedral guards the chains.

Location

This is the far right route on the belay ledge and shortest line. Also gives direct access to the third pitch ledge and Magnanimous.

Protection

Max Snyder got the first ascent of this route 4/18/14, and it clocks in around 5.12c. This route starts with some easy 5.10 climbing past 3 bolts up to a small roof. Pulling through the roof is not obvious and feels around V6; and clipping the 4th bolt is very strenuous. Once established above the roof about 20 feet of technical 5.10 climbing guards the chains.

This climb is named Early Bird Special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just because your lucky enough to have gotten the first ascent does not give you the right to change the name of my routes. Be happy that you even have new routes to get first ascents on. How bout show some respect for the people who are putting up routes and countless hours of labor so that you can show up and test your climbing ability. I have gotten numerous first ascents on other people's routes and I would never try to rename someone else's climb.
