Sequence of climber Brendon Reals on Dutch oven. ...

Seasonal Raptor Closure MORE INFO >>>

Description

Located on "Surprising Crag - South Face". Locate this route by counting 4 routes from the obvious chimney on the south face. The start of this route could be a little cleaner, as there are many loose blocks, pull down not out. Climb through a small bulge past 5 more bolts to the anchors. PG-13 by first bolt for beginners, and rock quality, be careful.

Protection

6 bolts - 2 bolt anchor.

Fun warm-up, another high first clip, but there are fun crack variations to be had on this one.

so freaking greasy... tried this on a cold day, I'd hate to think about this on a hot day. I slipped off a couple of holds when I grabbed them, and ended up throwing a heel up. Don't commit to any single move with your hands below the first few bolts.
