On the east side of the Drilling Fields is a quiet spot with great views across the Circle Creek Drainage. The approach is just long enough to keep out the rif raf, with a nice flat slab in an alcove for kicking back in.
Approach as for the drilling Fields: Past Morning Glory Spire and down past the trail to Redtail. Continue on past the Drilling Fields West side, following the trail, then cairns up onto the rock and past a quick 4th class move. More cairns lead down and to the left, meandering up and around to the alcove and the climbing. ABove the alcove are two climbs, and further to the North are two more friction routes.

The Bingham guide shows this route shares anchors with the route to the right (Truth is Stranger than friction) but we found a separate set of rap bolts for this line above the small moss cover step.Needs more traffic to clean up....[more] Browse More Classics in ID
