BETA PHOTO: Beta - 5 bolts to anchors

Description

Another addition to the venerable Freezer Buttress. This little climb actually has a few cool moves. Maybe that is really subjective though! Destined for not alot of other visitors, and probably won't clean up until the next millenium. You gotta love this place for other reasons than the rock!

Location

Follow directions to Freezer Buttress which is the first crag up Freeze Creek.

Protection

5 bolts to same anchors as for Freezing Fingers.

This route is pretty fun but the clipping hold for the anchors, as well as all the holds near the top of the cliff, are an absolute mess. The bolt-on hold at the last bolt is an oddity in that it's worse thanthe natural holds around it.

This route was fun until 3/4's of the way up when my fingers were eaten alive by the sharp limestone and all the holds went out the window as I tried to trav over to the anchors. On top of that, no matter where you are clipped, any whipper you take is going to pendulum.
