RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. MORE INFO >>>

Description

Donkey Punch is on the southwest face of the main Warmup Boulder. Begin on a chalked up undercling rail and move to a sidepull out right. Move slightly back left to get the "ear" hold and fire straight up to a good pinch to finish.

Location

Southwest face of Warmup Boulder. Right of Fluffer.

pretty much a one move wonder, but it's a cool move.

The ear-like hold on the left is broken. This climb is likely a grade or two more difficult now.

Not surprised given the rumors of boulderers out climbing less than 12 hours after one of the biggest rains of the year last week. I wonder what else was damaged.

Talked to a friend who has sent it post-break. Sounds like V5/6 for sure now.

True true, but roped and non-roped climbers alike.

With the broken hold it's probably a v5 now. Harder than 4, but not a 6.
