| Please excuse my ignorance of apps and smartphones but I have a neither an iphone or android but I was thinking of getting an itouch just for the MP app. Does it work the same, just that I need wifi to download the info? | FLAG |

| Yep it does. I just got it on my GF's ipod touch and it worked fine. Just need to download info/pics while you still have a wifi connection. | FLAG |

| Nick, I have all of Arizona downloaded with Joshua Tree and Smith Rock. It only takes up 187 MB, however, I haven't downloaded 75% of the pics. Hope this helps. -Mac | FLAG |

| Even if you were to download a TON of areas to the MP app, it wouldn't take more than 1 GB. So 64 GB is overkill. | FLAG |

| I've been using the app on my 32 gig iPod Touch for two weeks now for climbing in Bishop, CA (Happy Boulders/Buttermilks) and Saratoga, CA (Castle Rock). I have 6 different places fully downloaded and I haven't noticed any problems with space (w/28gigs of music and apps) | FLAG |

| Ok, so I found an itouch for $100 but it's first generation, will I lose any important features with that? | FLAG |

| Yes. I have an 8GB iTouch, with a ton of songs, and the app takes up hardly any space. The only disadvantage of having it on an iTouch is that you need internet access to download areas, photos, etc. | FLAG |

| Looks like I need iOS 4 at least, hence Gen 1 won't work. I'll just by the new one, the family will love the Facetime feature. | FLAG |
