DIY cam trigger (not wire)

I have a new style .75 green C4 that is missing the trigger. Anybody have any ideas for making a trigger?

To clarify, I'm not replacing the wires. Just the trigger.

My vote is on a Popsicle stick. Or you could get yourself some nice hardwood and widdle or whittle and sand it to perfection. Either make it in two pieces to get around the stem or make it one piece with a relief and a keeper cord.
