Anyone have any tips for making your own antibot plates? What's the best material and method of attachment? I have bionic crampons in monopoint configuration.

I am 4-years late on this post...better late than never!
I tried to make anti bot plates with a milk jug a few years back after my factory plates rotted off. Long story short...it did not work.
I just made anti bot plates out of a hopefully more durable material. I used the plastic roll up sled in my attic. I put holes in the fitted sled material by using a red-hot nail that I heated over my soldering torch. I used steel wire, fashioned by a pair of needle nose pliers and crimped the wire with a pair of channel locks. They look just like the anti bot plates that were on the cramp-ons 8- years ago.
I hope to give a good report after we play on Rainier with them for a week.
