BETA PHOTO: New parking

Directions

Off of I-85 take the Dixon School Rd (exit 5) to the south. Turn left on Bethlehem Rd after 1.5 miles (there is a sign saying "Crowders Mtn Boulder Access"). Take a right on Van Dyke Rd and shortly you will find parking lot.

Access

Fill out a climbing/hiking permit at the ranger station. Don't shirk this. Not only is it a good idea for the state's liability but it shows our numbers as a user group and will help with future issues.

Approach

Walk back out of the parking lot down the hill. Go down Van Dyke until you take a left on Bethlehem. You will get to the Ridge Trail crossing and in about 100 yards there is a dirt trail on your right going up the hill(shown in photo). First boulder on your left will be Eye of Zeus. The total approach is probably a quarter mile

Dixon has a guide book. It's well-written and has great topos which makes problems much easier to find. Go to- https://www.facebook.com/groups/170785626280776/ and look for Matt (author). The CCC gets a percentage of sales.
