The Joshua Tree National Park Superintendent's Compendium states that:
1. Vegetation is not allowed to be used as an anchor.
2. Only neutral or rock colored bolt hangers are allowed.

Access Issue: A portion of the wall is closed due to Indian rock art.
Details
The route Energy Crisis and the rock for 50' on either side of its are closed to climbing to protect Native American rock art in the vicinity.
Location
This is the furthest left route on Little Hunk's East face, located by scrambling up the big chute/ramp past New Deal and Smear Factor. Begins just left of Smear Factor and goes straight up.
