| I have a (hopefully) simple question. I have a few pictures in my personal album that should be linked to the routes database. How can I move them to the proper section after they have already been posted in my personal album?
Thanks for any help. -Mike | FLAG |

| If you submitted the route, you can use the red EDIT ROUTE menu right under the route name and select Photo (Copy) and enter the ID of the photo. You can find the photo's ID right below the photo itself when viewing it. I don't think you can do this if you didn't submit the route originally (somebody correct me if I'm wrong please). | FLAG |

Yes yes, you are all good ones. Great ones in fact.
So... does anyone know the answer to the question? | FLAG |

Your question was already answered by Peter Spindloe earlier in the thread. To reiterate:
You can link a photo to a route or area, but only if you own the route/area or are an administrator for the area:
1. Go to the photo and get its ID number, which appears below the photo. Copy it.
2. Go to the route or area where you want to link the photo. If you own the route or area, or are an admin, you will see a red "Edit Route" or "Edit Area" link.
3. Put your mouse over the "Edit Route" or "Edit Area" link, and select "Add Photo (Copy)" from the popup menu.
4. Then paste the ID number of the photo you want to link and click Submit.
5. You're done!
If you don't own the route/area, or are not an admin for the area, then you will have to re-upload the photo directly to the route/area from your computer via the "Add Photo" button. There now will be two separate copies of the photo on MP, rather than one photo and a link.
Another alternative is to contact an Admin and have them do the link for you, if you can't do it yourself. If you want to do this, I will be happy to help you out. | FLAG |

| Thank you very much for the info Peter & Ron. I was aware of Peter's answer, but since I had not originally entered all the routes in the database, I wondered how to go about things.
Thanks again!
