Description

Start in the crack left of the roof just in front of the tree. Traverse left and smear up the finger crack in the middle without Peter Panning and then straight up the rest of the crack. Make it much harder by trying to mantle up the awkward boulders and make your way up to the face climb left of the start into the crack.

  • #69 in the MN/WI book.

Location

The only climb off the west (right) side of the overlook. Anchors are easy to set here, but don't use the platform itself. There is a good tree to use, but be careful of its branches.

Protection

Anchors at top. Set and rap down.

A great route even though it's so short. Protects well with all passive gear and of course cams also.

A great lead, especially if you finish by climbing up and over the viewing platform. It "protects" with a purple C3 between the doubled up 2X10 beam.
