Devil's Lake Partner (week or weekend)

I will be in the Chicago area for the next few weeks and would like to get to DL before I leave. I don't have any true obligations, so getting there during the week would be ideal. I have a rack, ropes, guidebook, desire to lead, and intermittent car availability. Coming from the desert, I am not used to planning so much around the weather.
