Those of you following on facebook probably already know this, but Darin is looking for a late 60's or a 70's VW bug or bus (or both) to film at DL.

Has anybody heard anything about this ?

He's hard at work on it. Finishing up interviews, getting the T shirts, chalk bags ready, etc. He was out filming again on Sunday.

I think Darin is updating his facebook page more frequently, but I'm not 100% sure since I'm not on there.

Darin was out filming on Wednesday too. Down to the wire before winter really roles in. The last bit of reel capture I think. He has quite a vision for this film.... I can't wait to see it... A few photos of him doing a camera rigging to do some wheel level footage around the roads at DLSTP. Preety cool... huh?

that camera will supply the view that many 'clubbers had when hanging out a vehicle door, puking close to the road with a bottle of swill still in the other hand. excellent memories.

Darin and I traded emails this afternoon- he's getting really close. He's put in an enormous amount of time and passion into this project and I am sure he'll get all the recognition due when this film is released.

I"ve received his request via facebook for some pics, but I need an email to attach and send them to him. somebody PM me with the email details and I can get them out today as I know he is in need now for the pics.

Any news?

I talked with Darin about 2 weeks ago. At that time, a virus had infected his computer and he spent a couple days cleaning all his files out, which delayed things a bit. He is working on securing corporate sponsirship as well for the film screenings. So, it's moving. Check the facebook page for more regular updates, if you have an account.

Looking forward to a Chicago suburban area showing for sure,,,since alot of 'clubbers originated from around there. Hope it's not just Minn and Madison for showings.

Yes!!! Got a text from Darin today, the first cut is close to being done. Then the sound will need to be edited in for final film editing.

Some random dudes up at Tachquitz yesterday asked where I got my DLFA cbag. Darin was somewhere in the vicinity...

Just hit the film site and ordered up myself a nice t-shirt too. Do hope to see the flick this summer for sure,,( can we bring beer inside the Ringling Theater, just like we sneaked it in years ago for regular flicks?)

I remember seeing that logo somewhere before,,,AND I got my #$%^& DLFA shirt yesterday too.....now waiting for 'showtime' somewhere in a theater near me.

Have to bump this as Darrin is getting close! Smoke coming out of my slide scanner getting him the hi-res images.
