Devils Crag #1 is a very remote, very loose, very striking mountain located west of the Palisades across the King River. The Devils Crags are rarely climbed, only once or twice a year.The crags have a long climbing history with climbers such as Charles Michael, David Brower, Norman Cylde, Jules Eichorn,and Glen Dawson stoping by to climb new routes.
Getting There
Follow the Bishop Pass trail over Bishop Pass though Dusy Basin and down into Leconte Canyon. At the trail junction in Leconte Canyon,follow the John Muir trail south to Rambaud Creek. Bush whack up hill to the base of the mountain.
