Description Suggest change

This route is thrilling. The second pitch offwidth will get you heart going. If you like offwidth climbs this is a must do. The second pitch is also the crux pitch.

The first pitch is 5.6 and leads to a two bolt anchor. The second pitch is run-out. About mid-route on the second pitch creativity with protection is a must. This leads to about 50’ of offwidth climbing. Once you gain the top there is another two bolt anchor and a beautiful view of Cottonwood Wash.

Location Suggest change

The route is located about 1 mile up Cottonwood Wash (UTM 12 S 546965 4325791) on the south side of the canyon wall. The offwidth on the second pitch is pretty obvious.

The route can be rapped from top to bottom with 2 70M cords.

Protection Suggest change

There are two bolt anchors on each pitch. The first pitch requires 1"- 4" pieces. The second pitch requires 2"-4" and three to four 5" pieces.
