Denver Physical Therapists
|
Does anyone have any advice on Denver physical therapists that are knowledgeable about climbing injuries (or just a good one in general)? I have some nagging shoulder pain, and I'm trying to avoid my typical ignore-and-make-worse policy. Something close to downtown or the Sloan's Lake/Highlands area is best. |

If you're willing to drive down to Boulder and if you're looking for some real results, go here. |

Yep, it looks like he's the guy, and worth the drive. Many thanks! |

My girlfriend is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in pediatrics. She's super active in the PT community in Denver, hold tight, I'll post up her reccomendations for good sports focused therapists that would be a shorter drive for you. |

The lady said that you should check out Greg McCall and that he's as fine of a PT as Colorado has to offer. And that you're better off with a PT than a Chiro given your specific situation. |

Awesome, good looking out. Dr. Steve in Boulder is booked out for several weeks, but I did visit with his RMT, Dan. As others have suggested, the deep tissue work was absolutely barbaric, and I would have admitted to any number of crimes I didn't commit to get him to stop at times! That being said, the soreness is waning and I can already notice an increase in mobility. For the sake of time, proximity, and finances (Dr. Steve does not accept insurance), I am going to book an appt with Dr. McCall in the interim. I'll update, for those that are interested. |

If you're down south, Peak Physical Therapy near Broadway and 470. IM me if you would like a name. |

Thanks for sharing this post. I just found your blog, and I have to say I'm impressed. As a physical therapist going through school right now, this information is invaluable. |
