| I'm going to be doing some research in the Deep Creek mountains come spring time. I was wondering if anyone had any good information on routes or boulders that have been established there. I'll most likely be camping there for 2 months come May and would love some stuff to do in my off time. | FLAG |

| Yeah wasn't sure which it fell into, and that guide has nothing on the area other than where it is at and some basic info on camping. | FLAG |

| I've climbed there a few times but mid 80's or so. It used to be a training spot for military or some such, one wall studded with old rivets might indicate. Some nice lines, rock is ok. Scrappy. | FLAG |

| I've spent time out there too, thinking all the naysayers were trying to keep me away from their unspoiled gem. Everything looked spectacular, but upon closer examination holds flaked away like kitty litter. Best we could do was set up a top rope where the FA scratched a pile onto his belayer. The rest of us didn't even want to rope up... even after backpacking all our climbing gear in. I do hope you find something to climb though, I'm sure there are stellar routes somewhere out there. | FLAG |
