Description The crux is releasing the left hand from the sloper to lean out to the good sloping rail, matching it, and holding the swing. One of the most unique boulder problems in Hueco Tanks if not the world, Dean's Journey is a unique experience full of fun thuggy moves bizarre mantles and improbable holds.
Location This problem begins on the lowest left holds of the boulder on two jugs. The problem traverses into a traverse and gets situated in the unique feature (I don't even know what to call it) and then finishes by traversing left and manteling out by the holds of Bloody Flapper.
Protection 2-3 pads, spotter for the crux.

| Overhanging body stemming. Very commiting reaching out behind you to the rail and realeasing the left hand to match. Great problem, you can't just pull harder. |
