BETA PHOTO: First pitch from the ground. Note the "bush pod" ...
2013 Closures MORE INFO >>>

Description

Climbed first two pitches and got chased off by rain. First pitch was slab climbing w/ 2 bolts leading to bolted anchors. Not quite 30 meters to the anchors. Second pitch was short one bolt to anchors. Maybe another 20 meters. Third pitch goes over a small headwall, but did not get to it due to lightning/rain/etc.

Location

The route is left of Ruthie's Commitment. Look for a pod of bushes about 10 meters up in between it and Ruthie's.

Protection

Bolts. Bolted anchors at end of each pitch.

Skip the first set of anchors and head to the 2nd set. The 2nd pitch is only 20 or so feet and there are no bolts and maybe one piece of gear. This route and the 5.6 to the left of it do not dry well even a few days after rain.
