Description 

Dairy Farm is presently the sole natural climbing destination in singapore. The granite Quarry here was retired many years ago, and in the local environment, it may as well have been hundreds. There are a few cliffs within the area, all within an area of no more than a square mile. The crags range from 40 feet to perhaps a 120 feet tall and contain climbs from 5.5 to 5.12. About half of the climbing is bolted, but there are some trad climbs, and a few relegated to TR problems. It is best to pay close attention to the anchors and their condition here in Singapore, as their attitudes about safety are not the same as you may be used to. Buyer beware.
I will list te climbs from 1-4 stars, as according to the system here, but even the 4 star routes at Dairy Farm may be 2-star rotues at your local crags- it is all relative.

Getting There 

The best way to arrive is by cab. Ask the Cabbie to drop you off at Dairy Farm Estates, at the intersection of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Dairy Farm Road. They will know where this is, and will probably suspect you are going "treking." Hahhh ha!

Find an old closed road with a gate accross the road from the Dairy Farm Estates (a retirement community) and walk up the road. There is frequently heavy construction equipment around this area, but I have never seen it moving. At first you will likely wonder if you are going the right way. If you wonder, you probably are. You will likely meet some local hikers anytime after 10am, as Singaporeans are NOT early risers. They can help you find your way if you ask. They are all quite freindly, happy to help, educated and speak better english than many Americans...
You will eventually come to an opening with cliffs here and there, Starting just to your left will be the area 'Boring And Meaningless' which as it so happens is the most popular crag at Dairy Farm. The distant cliff uut accross the clearing is called 'The Nose.'
