DescriptionDairy Farm is presently the sole natural climbing destination in singapore. The granite Quarry here was retired many years ago, and in the local environment, it may as well have been hundreds. There are a few cliffs within the area, all within an area of no more than a square mile. The crags range from 40 feet to perhaps a 120 feet tall and contain climbs from 5.5 to 5.12. About half of the climbing is bolted, but there are some trad climbs, and a few relegated to TR problems. It is best to pay close attention to the anchors and their condition here in Singapore, as their attitudes about safety are not the same as you may be used to. Buyer beware. Getting ThereThe best way to arrive is by cab. Ask the Cabbie to drop you off at Dairy Farm Estates, at the intersection of Upper Bukit Timah Road and Dairy Farm Road. They will know where this is, and will probably suspect you are going "treking." Hahhh ha!
