Description

This is described in Bouldering Colorado.

The area is right off of the road with very easy access.

It has great shade and is somewhat private for the proximity to the road.

Efforts to clean the area and establish more routes are underway, this year has introduced numerous new problems and projects, as well as clearing debris from the entire east face which was once inaccessible.

This is a big boulder so there is room for one or two problems to be developed here.

Getting There

From Georgetown, head South on Guanella Pass road 2.7 miles (you will pass two scenic view pulloffs...). It is on the North side of the road (Georgetown Side), it is hard to miss. There is a nice shoulder on which to park on the South side of the road (opposite the boulder).

Every Which Way But Loose 5.9  CO : Georgetown : Curve Block
This is on the West/ Southwest face.... It is a top rope route around 45 feet tall. There is a good belay station down in the boulders. A #2 Big bro made for a bomber anchor back under the boulders. Set anchors up top off the huge aspen and pine trees with the third being a nut or hex in a small crack near the face. ...[more]   Browse More Classics in CO

I packed out two (2) garbage bags worth of trash from here and cleaned much of the line on G.T.A. -- please don't be the douche that trashes it again.

I did a major clean-up and clean out over the past few days at the Curve Block. The entire East face is now open to projects.
Will be posting beta on a few new problems on the freshie face soon!
