DescriptionThis canyon is access to two towers that I know of. Gold Bar and a unnamed tower that we are going to call Golden Nugget until I'm corrected. Getting ThereDrive down the Potash Road towards Jug Handle Arch. A short distance past the Corona Arch Trailhead (1/4 mile?) is a large culvert on the right side of the road. Either way once on the railroad tracks walk on the tracks to the left side (with your back to the road) of the canyon. There is a old road/ramp that leads you to a trail and over a fence. Walk the rim of the canyon on a faint trail. The ClassicsMountain Project's determination of some of the classic, most popular, highest rated routes for Culvert Canyon:

The physical crux is as you'd guess; the offwidth/squeeze chimney, which leads to a good ledge. A short, interesting section of chimney ends at the f...[more] Browse More Classics in UT
