Description An old classic of the Ouray ice park. Find this route about 30 ft below the lower bridge. It has the appearance of a spout. It often touches down but may not appear to do so from upstream. It lies below a pair of bolts with chains. Conditions can vary from an easy hookfest to a chandeliered nightmare. Photogenic from across the gorge. You can wander up easier ice to the base of the pillar about half way up. From here it steepens. It can resemble a ladder if heavily traveled or a funky stalactite with fragile microformations pointing in all sorts of directions. It often feels steep. Enjoy! 80ft.
