Ignore the haters. I assume that's why 80 meter ropes are becoming popular. rging

Use a dog eared figure8 but instead of flipping the loop over to finish it, use it as one of three loops. This will allow three loops that easily slide adjust at the knot, give you a master point to clip to and with a butterfly or F8 on a bite below the knot you have a separate location to belay from. fng

JUST SO ITS CLEAR I DIDNT THINK IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CREATE A TRUE SELF EQUALIZING ANCOR WITH 1 ROPE. I DID HAVE IN MIND THE SUPER EIGHT OR THE BOWLINE ON A BIGHT OR ANY 2 LOOP KNOT WHERE YOU COULD USE A CARIBINER TO CREATE A PULLEY ASSIST EQUALIZING ANCHOR BUT IF ONE OF THOSE PIECES BLOW IT STILL EXTENDS SOOOO ITS REALLY NO BETTER THAN A MAGIC X IT WAS JUST A THOUGHT PROVOKING QUESTION Brasky
