Description

Below the Sunshine Wall. Lots of good, short sport routes.
Has been identified in previous guides as part of the Lower Riverview Park cliffs, but now that many more new routes have been added it deserves its own section. Rock is mostly sound (still chossy in spots tho, like all of Frenchman).

Getting There

Access is usually made from the west end of the cliff, unless you are coming from Millennium Wall or The Hen House. If coming from Millennium just continue west on the cliff base trail. Locate the Corn Wall by "The Cob" - a small freestanding pillar. Popular access is from the Near Trail, hiking past the upper Riverview Columns, then descend the gully.
More: book "Frenchman Coulee" by Marlene Ford and Jim Yoder.

Human Corn 5.10a  WA : Vantage (Frenchman Coulee) : Corn Wall
Great route to the right of "A Disease Called Life". This route is challenging, but fun the whole way up. It gets a little thin towards the top. If you're in the area don't miss this route!...[more]   Browse More Classics in WA
