This route is used mainly as an easy way to get to the top of the rock from Paisano Ledge. The climbing is easy except for one face move by a bolt. Above the bolt, there is a 60 foot runout on 4th and easy 5th class rock.

one bolt and a mix of small to medium gear

My first exposed lead on suicide. This was in 1972. I climbed it in mountaineering boots, no lie, and the rope(?) was a doubled nylon laid 5/16" USMC green utility rope. So the rope was too short and we had to simulclimb the last 20~30 feet to that big exfoliation slab that came down in about 2003… No wonder I got into alpinism!
