aka "lead it, to top rope would be a waste!" inside the window, stunning crack starts out wide, then hands then fingers. below the roof traverse onto the ledge, thru the cave to the rap anchors above the window. try not to use the stem across the chimney!
Location inside the window, west side spire on SuperCrack tower.

| Yes, wide at first... a bit awkward-the top of the pitch is fun, I followed it and, well, I rate it 5.10d... I could even go so far as to say 5.11a... maybe wrong? Any other thoughts? I couldn't step across to the back wall-believe me I tried, my foot barely reached and i just felt too stretched out to make upward progress... Oh well, it was fun to thrash and dangle about-all in a good days work! After the awkward wide section, the rest is nice and 5.10a/b. I think some canyoneers came through there from somewhere amongst the rock cliffs that surround SC tower. Pretty cool. |
