Climb up the west face of the "Spire" on beautiful red/orange rock via solid crimps and long moves. Great line!!! A must for any devoted Three Sisters climber!!

The best way to get to "The Spire" is to park in the upper or second parking lot. Take the "Bluebird Meadow Trail" EAST to its junction with "The Silver Fox Trail." At this junction, continue east on the "Silver Fox Trail" until you run into the "Ponderosa Trail." Once these two trials meet follow the "Ponderosa about 50 or so yards while looking uphill in a North/Easterly direction. "The Spire" should soon come into view. Then it's climb time.

Pads and a spot.

This is a pretty fun line. Be careful of the top out, though... I was greeted by a slippery bed of dead pine needles from that tree that grows over the spire.

I loved this problem. It should definitely be climbed from a sit, makes for a really nice sequence. I personally disagree with the PG-13 rating, it's not all THAT tall and the top out is pretty secure. Classic for the area for sure!
