DescriptionThe sunny, exposed southern aspect of Conrad Rock is in stark contrast to the hidden, shady corridor that holds Heart of Darkness. Here you will find a half-dozen or so slabby routes 5.10 and under, none of them classics by any means but a fun diversion close to the road. Getting TherePark in a large paved turnout midway between Ryan Campground and Hall of Horrors/Saddle Rocks. A signed trail leads directly to Target Rock and then branches - take the right fork which leads to Conrad Rock. Pass the Heart of Darkness Corridor as the trail wraps around the formaton and the routes will come into view. The approach takes 10-15 minutes from the parking area.
