Devil's Den is a Nature Preserve and should be treated as such. This probably means no bolting, and I would assume that using chalk should be kept to a minimum. The Nature Conservancy manages the land (I think) and this is apparently CT's most visited preserve. More info can be found @ http://www.nature.org/wherewework/northamerica/states/connec>>>>>
In addition to the supposed dws that exists in the Den there are also some quality Boulders to be climbed. Some are obvious, some require some exploration.
I have NEVER seen anyone else climbing here when I have been climbing - a beautiful secluded climbing location the beautiful New England woods.
Rock quality varies but generally is very good quality granite.
Getting There
Almost all of the bouldering I have done here is just off the trail and easy to identify. There are also some small faces off the trail.
