Thinking of heading up tomorrow, soloing up the couloir and boarding down... wondering if anyone's been up there recently and has anything to report. Thanks.

Any updates on skywalker couloir? It has been pretty warm around colorado lately. Maybe this has solidified the snow?

Climbed on Monday. It appeared there was a bit of a freeze Sunday night/Monday morning. There was some avy debris on the apron likely from sometime in the past week or so, but everything was stable and quiet for us in the couloir. Conditions in the lower 2/3 to 3/4 of the couloir were quite firm. The top section was pretty soft...We also were moving pretty slow which may have had something to do with that.

However, sometime while we were climbing there was a big slide on Jasper. We saw ski tracks from the weekend on our way up and on the way down it looked like the entire NE face had slid. There was also some activity on the Arapahoe Glacier side that we saw from the summit.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
