Does anyone know the current condition of the road to the South Ridge trail? Some reports from last year suggested that you would need high clearance. I drive a Honda Element. Would I be alright? If the road is bad are early turnoffs where I could camp? Thanks for the help. Sean (tommywiggins)

Just camped up there last night. I drive a low clearance sedan and was fine. You will cruise up in an Element.

Yeah your set, just take it slow, even on the asphalt part there is a big hole.
